Cesar Manrique Foundation
The Cesar Manrique Foundation is located Taro de Tahiche, it is the home of the late Cesar Manrique who was an international artist and architect. Cesar Manrique is best known on the Island of Lanzarote
for the work he had done to keep Lanzarote the way it is today, this includes no high rise buildings, all houses being painted a specific colour and much more. Through out the Island you will come across many
different statues located mainly on round about's which is his work. The house in which he used to live in, is now a tourist attraction on Lanzarote. What makes this house so unique is it's build into the lava
bubbles which were formed from many of the volcano eruptions.
